FOUNDATION FUNDING PRIORITIES
The Foundation is pleased to accept unsolicited applications each year from organizations aligned with its mission. Most grants are for partial funding of specific projects for a limited time.
The Foundation supports:
- Organizations that provide services for the betterment of the health, education, guidance or welfare of children or adolescents (defined as children age 17 and younger, and referred to collectively as "youth") residing in Ventura County, California;
- Organizations engaged in cancer research;
- St. Johns Regional Medical Center, located in Oxnard, California, exclusively for the purchase, maintenance, and support of fetal monitors.

GRANT APPLICATION PROCEDURES
To be invited to submit a grant application, applicants must first take the online Eligibility Quiz. Upon passing the quiz, applicants will be automatically directed to submit an online Letter of Inquiry (LOI). The Board will carefully review your LOI. If the LOI is approved, the applicant will be invited to submit a full Grant Application online, using the approved form. Please take our eligibility quiz, by clicking here to register or sign in.
Please Note: LOIs submitted between April 1 and September 30 will be reviewed at the Trustees' meeting in November for the Spring Cycle. LOIs submitted after the September 30 deadline will not be reviewed until the following Fall Cycle. Those approved in November for the Spring Cycle are invited to submit a full proposal due in December, and award notifications are sent in February.
LOIs submitted between October 1 and March 31 will be reviewed at the Trustees' meeting in May for the Fall Cycle. LOIs submitted after the March 31 deadline will not be reviewed until the following Spring Cycle. Those approved in May for the Fall Cycle are invited to submit a full proposal due in June, and award notifications are sent in August.

REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
Grant recipients are required to submit a progress report online by clicking here and logging in with the same user name and password used to submit the grant application. To access the progress report, click on the Requirements link at the top left of the page.
